About Body in Balance For Animals
Meet Wynne Davis - From Skeptic to Certified Animal Healer

The Moment That Changed Everything
I'll be honest with you - I used to be skeptical about energy healing. As someone who had spent years running a boarding stable, teaching riding lessons, and working hands-on with horses, I believed in what I could see and touch.
That skepticism vanished in a single moment at a horse rescue in Texas.
A Reiki Master from England was there offering healing sessions to the rescue horses. I had a painful knot in my back that had bothered me for months. Within minutes of her placing her hands near the area - not even touching me - that knot dissolved completely.
I was stunned. I was hooked. And I knew, without question, that this work was real.
The Experience That Proved Animals Know
But the moment that truly opened my eyes to the depth of animal healing happened after I received my Reiki II attunement, which allows for distance healing.
I wanted to help a woman I'd met in Canada who suffered from endometriosis, so I offered to send her healing energy. I also offered to
work on her horse.
During the distance session with her horse, I felt guided to send energy to three specific areas: his head, his stomach, and his legs. Afterward, I told her exactly where I had concentrated the healing energy.
Her response left me speechless.
She explained that her horse had a head wound, carried deep anxiety from his former life as a racehorse (which affected his stomach), and struggled with arthritis in his joints.
I had never met this horse. I had no knowledge of his condition. Yet somehow, through the energy connection, I was drawn to exactly the areas that needed healing.
That was the moment I truly understood: when you are attuned to Reiki energy, your intuition expands. You become aware of things you could never have imagined, and the connection between healer and animal becomes unmistakably real.

Medical Intuition for Animals
How Reiki Enhanced My Medical Intuition
One of the most profound changes that happened after my Reiki training was the enhancement of my medical intuition - that subtle, internal sense that helps me determine which therapeutic modality will best support an animal in the moment.
When I enter the calm, centered state that Reiki cultivates, my ability to assess an animal's needs becomes crystal clear. This intuitive clarity guides me in choosing whether to incorporate cold laser therapy, red light therapy, specific acupressure points, or a combination of modalities.
By sitting quietly, observing without pressure, and listening to both the animal and my own inner guidance, I'm able to determine the most supportive, least invasive approach for each individual animal.
Reiki provides the energetic "tuning" that allows these insights to come through, making my overall care more precise, compassionate, and effective.
Understanding Light Therapy - A Complete Approach
In my practice, I use multiple forms of light therapy, each serving specific healing purposes:
Cold Laser Therapy uses focused red or near-infrared beams that reach deep into muscles, joints, and tissues, helping cells produce more energy for faster self-repair. Perfect for arthritis, joint discomfort, muscle injuries, and chronic pain.
Red Light Therapy uses gentle LED light that spreads over larger areas, supporting surface healing, reducing inflammation, and improving circulation. Ideal for general wellness and minor injuries.
Blue Light Therapy works on the skin's surface with natural antibacterial properties, helping with hot spots, wounds, and skin infections.
Every animal is different, and every session is unique. I pair my medical intuition with quiet observation to determine exactly what combination of therapies will serve each animal best.
Why I Do This Work
After witnessing transformation after transformation - watching anxious animals find peace, seeing chronic pain dissolve, and observing the deep bonds between animals and their humans grow stronger through healing - I know this is my calling.
Everything is energy, and each of us has the innate ability to heal ourselves and others. Reiki simply helps us tap into that natural capacity. Through the attunement process, a Reiki Master connects you to a pure, time-honored lineage of healing energy - opening the door for deeper intuition, balance, and transformation for both humans and animals.
My mission is simple: to provide gentle, effective healing that honors each animal's unique needs while strengthening the sacred bond between animals and their human companions.
